All I got is summer stories
I hear the echoes of what you’ve said
The sun rays dazzling through the leaves
in all the glory.
Do you hear the thunder rumbling?
But you’re standing still outside.
The seagulls screeching in the horizon,
The sand dunes is inviting you to stay.
I was walking down the winding road.
And all I hear is the sound of tree tops.
It rushes through my crumpled soul
And it lifts me up, leaving all behind.
I’m laying here in the golden hour.
The river ripples by my feet.
In this quiet satisfying moment
Time is standing still, and here where all began.
Oh, the summer of youth
Tell me a different story.
The night turns into morning,
Soothing you with affection.
Watching over you wherever you’re going.
Watching over you when you’re gone.
